Promising Practices Transition Sites

Junior High / Middle School High School 18-22 Programs Postsecondary

One of Project 10’s four primary initiatives is to improve the development, academic success, and post-school outcomes of students served in exceptional student education in Florida.  As part of that initiative, Project 10 provides information on transition sites across the state that incorporate promising practices.

Transition sites described in this section

• base their activities on effective practices and research-based interventions in the area of transition services for youth with disabilities and
• model the use of evidence-based student development practices for improving transition outcomes.

These transition sites may serve students at one or more of the following target levels:

• Middle School/Junior High School
• High School
• 18-22 Year Olds
• Postsecondary
